Function: addLayoutElementComponent()

addLayoutElementComponent(world, entity, options?): LayoutElementEcsComponent

Defined in: ui/components/layout-element-component.ts:99

Attaches a LayoutElementEcsComponent to entity, overriding how createUiLayoutGroupEcsSystem measures and (if childControlWidth/ childControlHeight is enabled on the parent group) resizes it. Every field is optional - pass only the ones you need to override.

EcsWorld

The ECS world entity belongs to.

entity​

number

The entity to attach the component to.

options?​

Partial<LayoutElementEcsComponent> = {}

Options for configuring the layout element.

Returns​

LayoutElementEcsComponent

The attached component, for further tuning or runtime changes.
